今天是母親節，有很多市民早上到旺角花墟買花送給母親。

旺角花墟有市民一早來買花，大的花束、一束大約四至五百元，有子女更帶母親一起來選擇花束。

有花店表示，今年的價錢較去年增加約兩成，原因是花的來價，以及包裝紙的成本都較以往高。

有花店的花，售價八十多元至幾百元不等，其中小盆栽較便宜，有小朋友用零用錢買花送給母親。

有市民花四百元，買百合花及康乃馨送給媽媽及婆婆，他認為價錢比往年略貴。

有一家四口去買花，母親表示，自己當媽媽後，感到母親節有多一重意義，最高興是可以一家人一起。
